Observed every year on November 11, Veterans Day is when we pay tribute to the special men and women who have served our country in all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces. Originally called Armistice Day, which commemorated the end of World War I, Veterans Day honors all who have served the country – in war or peace.

A traditional and poignant way to thank Veterans for their service is by sending them flowers in a colorful arrangement of reds, blues, and white, which represent the flag of the United States and flags of several other Western countries that celebrate Veterans Day on November 11.
